SBB's web offerings reach every second online user
The industry organization NET-Metrix released its online usage study on Monday. SBB's websites are now used at least once a month by approximately 3.2 million users—that is, more than half of all Swiss internet users.

NET-Metrix-Profile 2019-1 includes reach and audience data for 170 Swiss web properties, mobile/desktop sites, iOS and Android apps, and 17 networks.

Among the 10 websites with the highest reach, SBB's web offerings posted the strongest reach growth of +1.8 percentage points compared to the previous wave: this means that SBB continues to hold the top position with around 3.2 million users per month and a reach of 51.6 percent per month. But the German-language online offerings of 20min.ch, Bluewin and 20 Minuten Tilllate also reach more users. By contrast, Srf.ch and Tagesanzeiger.ch saw a sharp drop in reach compared to Q2 2018.

It is the mobile offerings in particular that continue to increase in reach, above all Google Android apps. The corresponding offers of 20min.ch - D-CH and SBB reach 2.5 percentage points and 1.7 percentage points more than in Q2 2018, respectively. The iOS apps (Top 5) reach a similar number of unique users as in the previous wave; only the iOS App Universal of SBB reaches 123,000 more unique users per month (+1.8 pp).
