Mère Catherine shines in a new guise
Strebel Juon has carried out a gentle renovation of the Zurich restaurant Mère Catherine and redesigned all of its printed materials.
In collaboration with stylist Aleli Leal, the interior of the restaurant has been redesigned in a classic bistro style, according to a press release issued on Monday. Suspended lights with simple globes, porcelain lamps and checkered tablecloths combined with white and petrol blue on the walls are intended to give the 37-year-old restaurant a fresh touch. All printed materials, such as the menu, have also been redesigned.
Mère Catherine continues to entice diners with French classics such as moules, escargots and soupe à l'oignon. Strebel Juon has created cine-pictures and postcards to accompany this offer and draw attention to the restaurant's traditional French cuisine.
