McDonald's and Coca-Cola are bringing back their popular collector's glasses - and TBWA\Zürich is staging the campaign as a spectacular hypebeast drop. The agency is taking its cue from the culture of limited product releases, where fans often camp out in front of stores for hours.

The campaign kicked off on social media with an unusual activity: influencers spent the night in McDonald's restaurants wearing McDonald's-branded pyjamas, bed linen and sleep masks. This staging created hype for the cult collector's items in the run-up to the ATL campaign.

Director Andrea Jade Colomb realized the camp-out scenes in three films for TV and online. With British humor, she tells the bizarre stories of various glass collectors who spend the night right outside the restaurant. Here is one of the spots:

At McDonald's Switzerland, Kat Howcroft (Chief Marketing Officer), Audrey Parance (Customer Engagement & Digital Manager), Sandrine de Cerjat (Senior Consultant Customer Engagement) and Brenda Henry (Digital Marketing Consultant) are responsible. At TBWA\Zurich, Manuel Wenzel, Sabrina Brandenburger, Mark Taylor, Davide Schenker, Jil Pettenhofer and Gvozden Milosevic are responsible for the creation. The production was carried out by Markenfilm AG.
