Wirz relies on good feelings for Allianz
Carefree, optimistic, and deeply relaxed: In her latest image campaign for Allianz, Wirz focuses on that good feeling.
When it comes to brand awareness, Allianz still has room for improvement in Switzerland. "We are the leading global insurance and asset management brand in the Brand Finance Global 500. In Switzerland, however, we have not yet achieved our own standards in terms of brand awareness," explains Claudia Staub, Head of Marketing Communication & Human-Centered Design at Allianz. The "Obviously Allianz insured" platform created by Wirz is now set to change this. The campaign raises the profile of the insurance company and focuses on the emotional benefits for customers: those who have a reliable partner like Allianz at their side go through life with more confidence.
The good alliance feeling
The wording parallel to the previous claim "Hopefully Allianz insured" is no coincidence: "We are telling the story further," explains Patrik Kesseli, Head of Brand, Media & Advertising at Allianz. "Instead of stopping at the claim, we show how the people who have chosen us are doing: They remain optimistic, even when things don't go according to plan."
In the TV commercial, a newly retired woman demonstrates how the Allianz feeling is to be understood in concrete terms: She is clearly saying goodbye to her working life without melancholy and proves that retirement provision can also have a lighter side. The message: anyone who is looking forward to retirement like this has obviously made good provisions.
Deeply relaxed despite damage
On posters and animated short formats, claims are juxtaposed with the reactions of insured persons. This side-by-side mechanism is also intended to make it clear: Anyone who reacts so calmly to a claim is obviously well insured. Regardless of whether it's bike theft, marten damage or flooded homes. "We are convinced that we are not only making Allianz better known in Switzerland with the new brand image, but also positioning it as more authentic, approachable and likeable," says Kesseli.
Regionally played out and produced
However, this should not only happen at a national level: The regional expertise at over 110 locations will be emphasized with their own implementations. The main role here is played by Allianz consultants. A specially created toolbox provides the regional agencies with a variety of easily customizable advertising materials. The image and video material for this was produced in a large-scale campaign with over 30 general agencies.
The campaign can be seen throughout Switzerland from mid-October.
