New job portal software for Medienjobs.ch

Medienjobs.ch has been using new job portal software since the beginning of October. This simplifies the recruitment process and offers precise matching in a pool of around 6400 applicant profiles. In future, the software will also be available to other specialized job markets as a rental solution.

The job platform for communication professions Medienjobs.ch has comprehensively updated its software. The new software simplifies the recruitment process for employers and the job search for candidates. In addition to the new features, the platform's proven strengths will be retained and further expanded.

Even more precise matching

The tried-and-tested matching function remains a central component of the platform: employers can compare their job advertisements with a pool of around 6400 applicant profiles. Suitable candidates are informed about the vacancy by e-mail.

The focus is now on applicants' skills - formal education and training are taking a back seat. "By adapting the matching criteria, we want to meet the changing requirements of the world of work. By focusing on skills, for example, qualified career changers are given even greater consideration," explains Thomas Paszti, Managing Director and owner of Dpi Publishing Service, which operates Medienjobs.ch.

Even better positioning and more efficient handling

Existing job advertisements can still be easily integrated as a web link and appear on Medienjobs.ch in their original layout. This allows companies to handle the entire application process seamlessly via their internal applicant management system without having to make any additional adjustments to the advertisement. For manually created job advertisements, the new editor offers an easy way to format content with just a few clicks.

Among other things, employers receive statistical insights into their job ads via their ad account: for example, the number of views of a job ad, clicks on the application button and LinkedIn applications received.

Job portal software as a rental solution for specialized job markets

In future, Dpi Publishing Service intends to make the software available to other specialized job markets as a flexible rental solution. This will enable other sectors to benefit from the efficient functions and precise matching algorithms that Medienjobs.ch has successfully established.

Easier job search

The platform has also been optimized for job seekers. After creating a job subscription in the login area, they receive a personalized job hit list based on their search criteria. Suitable job advertisements can be saved in a watch list. In addition, jobseekers can now create a complete online CV that they can send to potential employers via a link or PDF.
