Maxomedia advertises SBB e-tickets with robot

Whether at home, on the soccer field, or on the way to work—with e-tickets, you can always have your SBB ticket machine with you. That’s the message of Maxomedia’s new campaign.

E-tickets can be purchased stress-free using a computer or smartphone. Waiting in line at the counter or at the ticket machine is now a thing of the past. Maxomedia has launched a campaign for SBB to ensure that even more SBB customers are aware of this option for buying tickets. The focus is on a ticket vending machine, picked up from the previous campaign, which has freed itself from its location in the station and since then has been visiting customers on its own. The little robot embodies the possibility of being able to buy e-tickets on the move.

As can now be seen on posters, banners and advertisements, many people are already letting the robot accompany them - and benefit from always having their ticket vending machine with them. Part of Maxomedia's campaign, according to the statement, is also a responsive Landing pagewhich, in addition to all the information about the registration and purchase of e-tickets, offers a competition with attractive prizes.

TES Magazine stopped for the time being

The German-language monthly magazine TES Magazine, based in Ticino, faces an uncertain future. Printing of the issue launched last spring has been suspended—the magazine has been integrated into the Ticino Management publishing house.

Advertising week reported). Behind the launch were economist Alessandro Cavadini, lawyer Filippo Celio and Valerio De Giorgi, publisher of the business magazine Ticino Management. After seven issues, the continuation of the "TES - The independent Ticino magazine for Switzerland" project is uncertain. "The uncertain economy, the Internet and consequently the behavior of advertising customers have led to a change in strategy," the publisher announced. De Giorgi's company Ticino Management, which has been publishing the business magazine of the same name for 25 years, will take over the production, publication and management of the magazine with immediate effect.

The integration will enable the existing synergies to be better utilized and a new concept for TES Magazine to be developed. A decision will be made in the coming months on the new format in which the magazine will continue to be published. "It is possible that TES will appear on an online platform and as a magazine published by Ticino Management," said TES Magazine when asked by Werbewoche. Four issues per year are conceivable. Further details are not yet known. A printed edition of the monthly magazine will not be published for the time being.

Frontwork labeled Axa Main Tower

Frontwork produced and installed two pylons of impressive size for the Axa Main Tower in Zurich-Oerlikon. They tower 5.35 and 5.7 meters into the air.

The colors of the lettering match the dark natural stone and mirrored glass façade. According to the agency, they are intended to look monumental and elegant. They are made of steel and aluminum and are finished on the outside with a metallic paint. To achieve the required aura effect, the agency formed lettering from Plexiglas, inserted it through aluminum ends and illuminated it with contemporary, energy-saving and low-maintenance LEDs.

In addition, Frontwork realized all orientation signage in the interior of the Main Tower. In addition to the signage concept, the installation was also a challenging task, according to the agency. On the one hand because of the requirements of the city and architects and on the other because of the exposed location and the unusual size of the pylons.

Press Council reprimands Blick

According to the Press Council, *Der Blick* violated the journalistic guidelines on the identification of non-public figures. In its report on a court case, the newspaper had published a barely blurred photo of the young defendant.

The editorial team had taken the photo of the 19-year-old from his Facebook profile and covered it only with a narrow black line over his eyes. Together with the personal details mentioned in the text, the accused was "recognizable to a disproportionately large circle of the readership," according to the Press Council. In doing so, Blick had violated the relevant guideline of the "Declaration of the Duties and Rights of Journalists." Even a photo from a social network may not be disseminated by the media unseen.

As the Press Council announced on Tuesday, it approved the complaint of the young man. He had claimed that the publication of the picture was problematic, particularly in view of his rehabilitation.

The report was about a trial at the Zurich District Court last fall. The 19-year-old was sentenced to six years' imprisonment for attempted homicide. In addition, the court ordered a stationary measure. (SDA)

Wunderman: Words make the race

Wunderman has launched a social race for Ford on Facebook. The new game is called "Race My Message".

Here's how it works: The participant types a message into the Facebook app, after which the computer immediately creates an individual race track. Users can then drive the corresponding sequence of letters - either in a Ford Fiesta ST or a Ford Focus ST. Participants can send their personal race track to friends and compete directly against them. Or they can take on the official Ford ST track and compete with rally pro and drift king Ken Block.

The game will soon also be available to play on mobile devices. It has already got numerous fans in several countries hooked, the agency said in a statement on Tuesday.

Metzgerlehner tells Villiger's story

For Villiger’s communications, Metzgerlehner positioned the historic year 1888 as the origin of good stories. This aligns with the enjoyment of tobacco, which goes hand in hand with flights of fancy, conversations, or—indeed—stories.

In the campaign, these stories are conveyed symbolically with a key visual. In the culturally diverse markets, the aim is to create a brand image that dramatically combines smoking enjoyment and social exchange.

The first story begins above the rooftops of a metropolis. Bathed in moonlight, two nocturnal predators meet and enjoy the time of the approaching morning in a fraternal bond. The Royal Bengal Tiger Gandhi was staged with the professional support of renowned predator trainer Carmen Zander and in compliance with international animal laws.

Responsible at Villiger Sons: Heinrich Villiger (owner), Peter Witzke (Managing Director), Désirée Burger (Product Manager). Responsible at Metzgerlehner: Michael Rottmann, Janine Aebischer, Patrick Meyer and Annette Vetsch (creation), Andreas Meier and Mirjam Eberle (consulting), Bruno Breitenmoser (production), Noë Flum (photographer).

Last but not least: Off to Holland!

The Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) surprised Berliners with a unique online and PR campaign: An oversized slot machine dished out prizes such as Dutch bicycles, Fatboy beanbags, and orange crowns.

With this marketing campaign - which was also played online - the NBTC and Easy Jet promoted trips to Dutch cities in the run-up to Queen's Day on April 30. Visible from afar, the three-meter-high, orange machine stood at the Neuer Kranzler Eck in Berlin and spit out the Dutch prizes at the touch of a button.

With this PR campaign, the NBTC wanted to draw attention to the direct flight connection between Berlin-Schönefeld and Amsterdam and at the same time promote travel to the Dutch cities.

The campaign can already be seen on YouTube:
