Last but not least: Here (comes The Sun+)

The football championship kicked off in England at the weekend. With an app from The Sun, you'll never miss a goal again - no matter where you are.

The Premier League is the best league in the world - at least that's what the Englishman thinks. That's why he wants to see every goal. At any time and in any situation. He considers himself lucky if he is a member of "The Sun+" - only then is the app "Sun+ Goals" can be used. The fee-based service allows customers to see the goals of the match day first, delivered directly to their smartphone after the waiting period required by UEFA. The app also offers analysis, live streams with commentary and all the latest information on the Premier League. Bild Plus also offers a similar service in Germany, but not as part of the basic subscription and only for an additional charge (but you get the goals of the really best league in the world). The agency Grey London has packed the new mobile freedom into a short but funny commercial. (hae)

CVP discontinues party magazine for cost reasons

The CVP needs to cut costs: It is discontinuing its magazine, *Die Politik*, for financial reasons. The magazine's final issue will be published in September.

The decision was already made in June, said CVP spokeswoman Marianne Binder, who is editor-in-chief of the magazine. At the request of the SDA news agency, she confirmed a corresponding report by NZZ am Sonntag. Binder said she regretted the decision. The magazine had been well received and had a loyal readership. The discontinuation was due to cost reasons. "We are not resting on our laurels," said Binder.

There will probably be a print organ again, but it will no longer be a magazine, but a party newspaper. The readership of Die Politik will be informed of the discontinuation in the last issue, as Binder went on to say. The magazine Die Politik was published ten times a year in German and French. According to information on the CVP website, the magazine had a circulation of 11,000 copies. (SDA)

View: Nothing has been decided yet

The future of *Blick*’s editorial team remains uncertain. But there’s no doubt that changes are coming. There’s speculation in the Sunday papers.

After the NZZ am Sonntag published a week ago that Blick editor-in-chief Andrea Bleicher would be replaced by Marc Walder with René Lüchinger (Werbewoche.ch reported), various members of the editorial staff wrote a letter to the Ringier CEO and made their case for the interim boss (Werbewoche.ch reported). According to NZZ am Sonntag, Walder met four of the signatories of the protest letter on Thursday and criticized the fact that the letter had been made public. However, according to Schweiz am Sonntag, he also praised the editors' "civil courage" and signaled that all options were open. Ringier spokesman Edy Estermann confirmed that nothing had been signed and that the media company would communicate "in the foreseeable future" how it would proceed with Blick. The Sonntagsblatt quotes insiders who can imagine Walder abandoning his original plan "out of size" and giving Bleicher a second chance.

Would Cavalli follow Bleacher?

Walder would do well to consider this option. Because if Lüchinger takes the boss's chair as planned, the Ringier titles face an exodus. In addition to Bleicher, who will turn down the post of deputy editor-in-chief and leave Blick, the media company also risks losing her life partner Rolf Cavalli. Cavalli, head of Blick Online and chief editor in the newsroom, currently heads Sonntagsblick on an interim basis and has worked loyally for Ringier for years. According to Patrik Müller (Schweiz am Sonntag), he could be considered for the vacant editor-in-chief position at Sonntagszeitung - Martin Spieler is leaving at the end of the year (Werbewoche.ch reported). After the protest letter, one also fears that the whole editorial office could fall apart without Bleicher.

Lüchinger wants Dietrich as vice

According to Schweiz am Sonntag, it is now "leaking out" that Lüchinger would like to take Andreas Dietrich with him as Vice President if he were to take up the position. This report is also confirmed by NZZ am Sonntag. Dietrich is an experienced news chief and pagemaker and was not only a member of the editorial board of the Tages-Anzeiger, but today also works for Weltwoche, among others. It was Weltwoche media columnist Kurt W. Zimmermann, who repeatedly criticized Bleicher, who recommended Lüchinger to Tamedia as Facts editor-in-chief in 1998.

A year later, he had to apologize to then-Federal Councilor Kaspar Villiger for the "personal and political violation of integrity" because his person appeared in connection with reporting on the book of a high-class prostitute from Bern. Lüchinger left Facts in 2000 and three years later became editor-in-chief of Bilanz magazine. In 2007, he had to vacate this post - despite economic success. The editorial staff and the Springer publishing house criticized his simultaneous work as a biographer of chocolate king Klaus J. Jacobs.

Communication of upcoming personnel decisions has also been delayed because Andrea Bleicher was on vacation this week. (hae/SaS/NZZaS)

The children on the train

At the end of July, SBB put its young passengers in the spotlight. Station signs painted by children and train announcements—these are just a few elements of the campaign designed by TBWA\ Zurich.

For around eight years, TBWA\ Zurich has been in charge of SBB's children's marketing, which includes the "Magic Ticket" and "Ticki Park" kids' clubs. For the latter, the agency designed the family compartments of the Intercity double-decker cars, in which forty "Ticki Park" playgrounds were installed in July. For this reason, TBWA\ Zurich proposed a national campaign to the SBB, which focused on child-friendliness and family offerings. And to ensure that this did not remain just an empty phrase, a group of kindergarteners was involved.

The campaign "Now it's the children's turn" was kicked off by station signs designed by children, which were installed at eleven stations on July 22. On the e-boards, passers-by were also able to follow the creation of the signs in fast motion. On the same day, commuters on trains were surprised with train announcements spoken by children. The little guerrilla advertisers also captured the attention of the passengers with their drawings. SBB website in the form of a branding day, the landing page and the teaser boxes.

In addition, the campaign was publicized on 400 rail posters and some F12 poster sites. For this purpose, the current motifs of the leisure campaign were also hijacked with guerrilla stickers. Finally, on July 24, SBB and TBWA\ Zurich organized play zones for young passengers in five large station halls, where SBB invited all children to paint, draw and have fun. Finally, the current SBB TV spot from the umbrella campaign was given a new voice-over - with children's voices, of course.

Shining Pictures is responsible for the film production.
