Content & Form steps on the gas for Melectronics

Melectronics' High Voltage Days are just around the corner once again. Inhalt & Form has created a commercial for the event.

And once again it is rockers who are in the spotlight and drawing attention to this. The highlight: the Melectronics man has now become the leader of the rocker gang. Only his bike doesn't quite fit the picture. Instead of a heavy Harley, he goes full throttle on a small, pimped-up "Töffli".

Thanks to the collaboration with the NZZ TV editorial team, S1's program will have even more Swissness, according to the press release. "We are delighted that this cooperation will enable us to do even better justice to our claim of showing high-quality TV productions," says Program Director Mike Gut. He continues: "NZZ Format is one of the most renowned documentaries in the whole of Europe and fits perfectly into our existing documentary channels and, above all, into our culinary environment with the cooking shows. S1 will be programming "NZZ Format" from April and will focus primarily on the culinary genre (e.g. fondue or the subtleties of Graubünden cuisine) and on documentaries about Swiss peculiarities such as the Postbus or Swiss locomotive legends.

The Basel branding agency M.a.d. Brand Care has announced a major change in personnel. Pascal Jöri, who is leaving the agency after 15 years, will be succeeded by Basel-based advertising expert Rony Hauser.

The management of the owner-managed Basel branding agency M.a.d. Brand Care has announced that it is facing a major personnel change. Pascal Jöri, member of the management team and client consultant at the agency for 15 years, will be leaving the agency in mid-March 2014 for personal reasons.

Hauser will join the team on March 17, 2014 and expand the agency's range of services. "Rony Hauser has been active in the broad field of traditional and non-traditional advertising for over 15 years and is a proven specialist in corporate communications," explains Staub. "In addition to his experience from founding, setting up and managing two recognized Basel advertising agencies, he can also draw on sound marketing knowledge that he has acquired on the client side and which he can naturally put to very good use at M.a.d. Good marks for "Die Skilehrer" television series

The documentary series «SRF bi de Lüt – Die Skilehrer» has received high marks from the SRG Bern Freiburg Wallis Programming Committee. The series, set in Grindelwald, provided an interesting and authentic look at the profession of a ski instructor today.

The series, which was broadcast on SRF 1 on three Friday evenings in February, showed beautiful and authentic pictures and enriched them with a lot of good and interesting information. The series succeeded in conveying a new image of the ski instructor and in doing away with old clichés. The topic was chosen according to the season and the problems of the fast pace of the profession were also addressed. The series provided good insights into today's methodology. The members of the program commission criticized the fact that relatively great emphasis was placed on après-ski and that the abundant consumption of alcohol was also documented.

The people responsible for the documentary series Danielle Giuliani (editorial director) and Hansjörg Niklaus (producer) explained the concept of the broadcast series and answered numerous questions about planning, filming and production. The series, which was broadcast during the Sotchi Olympics, was seen by an average of 550,000 viewers, which exceeded the expectations of those responsible.

Swisscom TV launches interactive TV spots

In cooperation with Seven One Media and Goldbach Media, Swisscom Advertising offers advertisers a new format with Red Button advertising that is unique in Switzerland

At the touch of a button, this connects TV commercials with additional content on the TV screen - without interrupting the current TV program. A layover with text and a red dot appears in the spot to indicate that further information is available. The red button on the Swisscom TV remote control then takes the viewer to the advertiser's customized TV application with a single click and without a media break, while the TV program continues to run in a small screen window.

According to the announcement, this lays the most important foundation for tomorrow's TV communication, as the perfect combination of linear and non-linear advertising opportunities becomes a reality on the same device. The offer is available immediately on Swisscom TV for all Seven One channels and reaches around one-third of all Swiss households. Swisscom TV uses Emuse technology, which is already successfully in use in the USA, the UK and Australia and offers decisive advantages over other interactive TV technologies. For example, the formats are delivered centrally so that every connected household can use them automatically, without additional downloads or long loading times.

Numerous Swiss advertisers such as media agencies have already signaled interest in Red Button advertising on Swisscom TV, according to the statement. Concrete implementations are in the works with initial advertising partners such as Nissan, represented by OMD Switzerland, and Ifolor, via JBW Media. The new form of advertising on Swisscom TV is made possible for the first time by the cooperation with Seven One Media Switzerland, on whose advertising windows the interactive TV spots are available exclusively for the time being. The launch of other stations is in the planning stage. Bookings for the new format are being handled in coordination with Goldbach Media, Seven One Media's TV marketer. The first spots have been on Swisscom TV since March 14, 2014, within the commercial breaks of SAT.1, Pro Sieben, Kabel Eins and Sixx.

Last but not least: the proof of the pudding is in the eating

In the new Old Spice commercial, Terry Crews meets a talking whisker that looks like him while shaving. Will he spare it?

Actor and former footballer Terry Crews is an old Spice hand. Regularly the muscleman gives the celebrated campaigns of the former Old Spice brand the necessary dose of testosterone. Probably the best-known example is "Old Spice Muscle Music" (Last but not least, 29.08.2012). Since Wieden + Kennedy took on the brand for shaving and men's grooming products founded in the 1930s, Old Spice has mutated into a ratings hit on social media. "Get Shaved in the Face" seamlessly builds on the success of past campaigns: Over a quarter of a million YouTube clicks in one day - selling electric razors could be so easy. (hae)

Wirz Corporate: Magazine developed for Postfinance

Wirz Corporate developed the new magazine «Ganz einfach» for Postfinance’s retail customers.

The name says it all in two senses: on the one hand, a wide range of questions about money are answered briefly and informatively, the bank's services for easy money management are explained and current offers and promotions are presented. At the same time, access to the magazine is also very easy, as it adapts to the needs of Postfinance customers. They decide whether they want to browse through the magazine in print, online or mobile version. Those who wish can keep up to date with the latest topics via the newsletter, while users of the Postfinance app are alerted to the cover story of the current issue via a teaser.
