Jung von Matt/Limmat: Gentle tones for mild cheese

A new commercial from Jung von Matt/Limmat reveals the incredible story behind the exceptionally mild flavor of Lucerne cream cheese.

An idyllic commercial was created for Emmi's Lucerne cream cheese, starring Toni Camenzind, a dairy farmer from Weggis. He was supported by two colleagues from the region who made their farms available for the filming. Thus, not only the cheese, but also his commercial comes directly from Lucerne.

Jung von Matt/Limmat's first work for Emmi tells the story of two parents who explain to their children at the breakfast table the reason for the mild taste of the cheese. It is not the extra portion of cream added during production, but the Lucerne farmers themselves who have a hand in it. They would wake their cows particularly gently early in the morning so that they would give extra mild milk. But the children also notice: a story that is almost too mild to be true. But the main thing is that it tastes good.

Responsible at Emmi: Robin Barraclough (Chief Marketing Officer) Thomas Heller (Head of Marketing Switzerland); Veronica Hilti (Group Brand Manager Cheese); Kristina Mennemann (Brand Manager Cheese). Responsible at Jung von Matt: Rob Hartmann (Creative Direction) Florian Molinari (Art Direction) Stefan Ganz (Text); Nathalie Brogli (Graphics); Thomas Steiner, Andrea Walker (Consulting); Stefan Näf (Strategy); Sarida Bossoni, Julia Kallmeyer (FFF Production). External partners: Michèle Seligmann, Rhea Mandanis; Onfilm (film production) Laurentius Emmelmann (director); Pascal Walder (camera); Jingle Jungle (sound studio).

Alpha 245: Creation Unplugged

Alpha 245 was responsible for the design of the new album «Philipp Fankhauser & Margie Evans Unplugged.» The project included a multi-page media booklet with a music CD and concert DVD, a tour poster, and several online banners.

And for the special music lover: a vinyl edition in large format. This is already the fourth fruitful collaboration with the successful Swiss musician and the Letzigraben agency. And certainly not the last. Because, as everyone involved assures us, the blues are far from over. Martin Spillmann is responsible for creative direction/concept, Daniel Belser for realization and design. Illustrations: Didier Cremieux.

Strebel Juon makes Le Petit Jardin bloom

Strebel Juon has created an unconventional corporate design for Le Petit Jardin, a flower shop in Toggenburg.

When the new Raiffeisen building at Ebnaterstrasse 6 in Ebnat-Kappel was inaugurated, Doris Forrer's dream also came true: she opened her own flower store at the same address, which offers far more than its modest name suggests. With creativity, a sense of aesthetics and craftsmanship, Doris Forrer arranges everything from single flowers to opulent arrangements in her own special way or according to the wishes of her customers. Old containers such as vases with patina, antique bottles, clay pots, wooden crates and barrels are a particular passion of hers: the characterful containers give the freshly blooming arrangements that certain something. Visitors to the new Le Petit Jardin will also find a fine selection of beautiful accessories such as vases, baskets, books, lanterns, candles, small pieces of furniture and much more to delight themselves or others.

Strebel Juon was commissioned by Doris Forrer with the naming as well as the conception and realization of the corporate design and the Website of their new flower store. In addition to the logo, letterheads, postcards, tags, paper carrier bags, seed bags, matches, flower and gift wrapping paper as well as the lettering for the store and delivery trolley were designed. The romantic, playful character of the sales premises is reflected in the calligraphic style of the logo. The uniqueness of the location and the creative aspirations of the owner are emphasized with the "black/yellow" colour scheme, which is rather atypical for a flower store. The website is dominated by a clear design that lets the images speak for themselves and gives the typography sufficient space.

Meta Design repositions the Hogrefe brand

Meta Design has developed a new brand identity for the Hogrefe Publishing Group. The identity highlights Hogrefe's strengths and supports the merger with Hans Huber Publishing.

The Hogrefe publishing group is a scientific publisher with 250 employees, focusing on psychology. The new brand positioning with the brand core "Shaping knowledge" formulates the central promise of the Hogrefe brand. The new visual identity stages the attitude formulated in the positioning. It strengthens the emotionality of the brand and builds a bridge to its scientific character. The new logo embodies in concentrated form what the Hogrefe brand stands for. A design element defined as a continuum promotes the independence of the appearance. It symbolizes the process of collaboration and the role of the publishing house as a creative mediator between authors and users. It runs like a thread through the entire brand design. The new imagery creates a sense of closeness and places people at the center - as personalities in the scientific engagement with content, in the further development, communication and design of knowledge. A new brand story, a brand tonality and a message system complete the differentiating appearance and also ensure a high level of recognition in terms of language.
