Ideart creates new look for VTL
The Lucerne Tourism Association (VTL) has a new look. It was designed by the Central Swiss agency Ideart.
Until the end of 2011, the cantonal association for tourism was called the "Cantonal Transport Association KVVL". At the last General Assembly, the future of the KVVL was discussed and it was ultimately decided to strategically realign the association and broaden its content. As a result, the name of the association has been changed. It is now called the Lucerne Tourism Association (VTL). Ideart created the new corporate design and stationery for this.

Metzgerlehner: Arena Flims repositioned
If Keith Richards were to spend his vacation in Flims, he would check in at the Arena Flims. Based on this premise, Metzgerlehner developed the new positioning and corresponding visual identity, from business cards to the signage on the building’s facade.
According to a press release, the agency deliberately dispensed with the folkloristic elements of mountain romanticism with ibexes and Swiss stone pine. Instead, it staged the cosmopolitan spirit of the hotel.
Metzgerlehner also has a Website which is integrated into all major hotel portals thanks to its connection to a yield management provider. Thanks to an integrated weather report from Crap Sogn Gion, visitors from all over the world can also get a digital taste of the Alpine air. The smartphone and tablet-friendly display makes it possible to book on the go.
Responsible at Arena Flims: Priska Amstutz and Pascal Hofmann (management). Responsible at Metzgerlehner Worldwide Partners: Michael Rottmann (Creative Direction), Patrick Meyer (Text/Concept), Janine Aebischer (Art Direction), Annette Vetsch and Katja Kurzweck (Graphics), Silvan Metzger (Consulting), Mark Berger (metzgerlehner digital)

Unique: Fabulous for apple juice

"Aeschbi" new member of the Board of Directors of Hesskisssulzersutter
The Zurich advertising agency Heskisssulzersutter is strengthening its team. TV presenter Kurt Aeschbacher has joined the agency's Board of Directors.
Kurt Aeschbacher has been on screen for over 30 years. However, "Aeschbi" literally started his career on a greenfield site: Aeschbacher, who studied economics, worked as vice director of the Swiss horticultural exhibition Grün 80. After the exhibition, he made the leap to Swiss television. In 1981, he started as an editor at "Karussell". And just a few months later, he took his first steps as a presenter.
Aeschbacher has always been interested in communication, art, fashion, music, cooking and show business - which earned him the reputation of a bird of paradise in the 1980s. From 1986, he was able to incorporate his preferences into numerous TV shows with his own, sometimes very creative concepts: From "Grell Pastell" to "Mode, Macher, Musik" and "Casa nostra" to the current late night talk show "Aeschbacher", which has been broadcast weekly since 2001.
Due to his keen interest in communication in the broadest sense, his wealth of experience, his capacity for innovation and, in particular, his inspiring personality, Kurt Aeschbacher will be a great asset to the Board of Directors, the agency said in a statement on Tuesday.

Last but not least: Facebook is spreading
Those who did not want to publish their pictures on Facebook previously had the option of sharing them with their friends via Instagram. Now Mark Zuckerberg's social media platform has acquired this service.
Facebook has acquired the photo-sharing app Instagram for one billion dollars. The company made the announcement on Monday, according to the New York Times. However, Instagram will continue to operate as an independent service. In a Facebook post, Mark Zuckerberg said that he plans to set up Instagram independently of the social media platform. This will allow users to follow other users who are not on Facebook. They can also choose not to publish their pictures on Facebook.
