An important piece of Swiss industrial history is being made accessible to the public: from September 14, the Museum Schaffen in Winterthur is presenting the "Objektwerkstatt" exhibition about the traditional Haldengut brewery.

"The Haldengut brewery is one of the best-documented industrial companies in the city of Winterthur," explains Nadia Pettannice, historian and guest curator of the exhibition. The show promises exciting insights into the development of the Swiss brewing landscape over the last hundred years. Visitors will learn about the challenges master brewers had to overcome at the end of the 19th century when producing the liquid gold and how beer was advertised at the time.
