EqualVoice United grows: USZ, Zurich Opera House and Yuh join
The EqualVoice United initiative continues to grow: The University Hospital of Zurich, the Zurich Opera House, and the finance app Yuh have joined the network. This brings the total number of leading Swiss companies working together to promote gender equality in the Swiss economy to 23.

As of today, the University Hospital Zurich (USZ), one of the largest and leading medical centers in Switzerland, is a member of EqualVoice United. Another new member is Yuh, a fully digital Swiss financial app. The start-up was founded in 2021 and has been fully owned by Swissquote since July 2025. Zurich Opera House, one of Switzerland's most renowned cultural venues, is also a new member of EqualVoice United.
With the addition of USZ, Yuh and the Opera House, EqualVoice United is strengthening a network made up of the Ringier initiative EqualVoice, the diversity partner EDGE and leading Swiss companies that are committed to gender equality in the Swiss economy.
23 Companies for equality
EqualVoice United now brings together 23 leading Swiss companies. Cooperation, knowledge sharing and data-based analyses are at the heart of the collaboration. In terms of content, the initiative is based on the fifth Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations, the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.
On January 27, 2026, the member companies of EqualVoice United met for a C-Level Breakfast at the Ringier Pressehaus in Zurich to further develop the common path, discuss the next steps at management level and welcome the three new member companies Opernhaus Zürich, Yuh and USZ.
Presence at the World Woman Forum in Davos
The EqualVoice Initiative was represented with two panels at the World Woman Forum in Davos. The presence in Davos is not a symbol, but a deliberate choice: Where political decision-makers, business leaders and global opinion leaders come together, there is also a negotiation about who is visible, who is heard and whose perspectives shape the public discourse. If you want to strengthen the role of women in business, the media and society in the long term, you have to place these issues precisely where agendas are created and reach has an impact.
On January 22, 2026, Annabella Bassler, CFO Ringier and initiator of EqualVoice, Brittany Kaiser, CEO of AlphaTON Capital, Tamara Raich, Founder & President of Athena21, Christine Graeff, Global Chief Growth Officer of FGS Global, Leila Toplic, Chief Communications & Trust Officer of Carbonfuture, and Harald Port, Founding Partner at PvL Partners, discussed leadership, influence and responsibility in the C-suite at the World Woman House. The panels were moderated by Rupa Dash, Founder & CEO, World Woman Davos Agenda and Annabella Bassler.
