Goldbach Austria joins Azerion: New owner from 2025

Goldbach Group AG is selling its Austrian subsidiary, Goldbach Austria, to the Dutch digital company Azerion. With this sale, Goldbach is realigning its strategic focus, while Azerion is strengthening its presence in screen marketing in Austria.

Goldbach Group AG announces that Goldbach Austria GmbH will operate under the umbrella of the Dutch digital platform Azerion from 2025. Founded in 2002, Goldbach Austria has established itself as an important player in the field of screen marketing in Austria and covers various media channels such as TV, online, mobile, advanced TV and digital out-of-home. With a network of 112 digital out-of-home screens at 91 locations, it offers advertisers a broad portfolio of digital opportunities.

The sale is part of the Goldbach Group's strategic focus and enables Azerion to strengthen its market presence in Austria and further expand the existing Goldbach Austria network. "Goldbach's network offers a diverse audience that is ideally positioned for the Azerion platform," says Sebastiaan Moesman, Chief Strategy Officer at Azerion. The employees of Goldbach Austria will remain on board and will continue to drive the business forward under the new ownership.

The takeover requires the approval of the Austrian Federal Competition Authority, but Goldbach CEO Christoph Marty is confident: "In Azerion, Goldbach Austria has found a perfect new partner to further develop the Austrian market." Josef Almer, Managing Director of Goldbach Austria, is also positive about the merger: "With Azerion at our side, we can enrich the entire screen marketing sector with innovative ideas and a fresh approach."

Goldbach Group AG, part of the TX Group, markets cross-media advertising in TV, radio, print and digital channels in Switzerland, Austria and Germany and specializes in simple booking processes for advertising. Azerion, a leading European platform for digital advertising and entertainment based in Amsterdam, connects advertisers with high-quality environments through a global network.
