CH Media also hands over marketing of station S1 to Goldbach Media
CH Media is restructuring the marketing of its national TV portfolio and bundling marketing with Goldbach Media. As of January 1, 2020, S1 will be marketed by Goldbach Media in addition to TV24 and TV25.
"Goldbach Media has made a significant contribution to the successful growth of our national TV stations with its marketing services since the launch of TV24 in 2014 and since the launch of TV25 in 2016," Roger Elsener, Managing Director TV, Radio and Film Sales and member of the CH Media Executive Board, said in a statement explaining the realignment. "In the competitive advertising market, bundling the national TV portfolio is crucial for sustainable growth and long-term success. As a result, with TV24, TV25 and S1, we offer advertisers attractive environments from a single source for the advertising-relevant target groups of 15-49 year-olds, young women and those leading households."
Integrated forms of advertising such as sponsorships and product placements for the primetime in-house productions "Die Höhle der Löwen Schweiz," "Ninja Warrior Switzerland" and "Sing meinen Song - das Schweizer Tauschkonzert" continue to be the responsibility of the station's own marketing organization under Hardy Lussi.
The S1 channel was founded in 2013 by Richard Gut and Bernhard Max Lussi and transferred to the portfolio of CH Media (then AZ Medien) in 2018. It was previously marketed by Admeira. (pd/hae)
