Milo Stössel (left) and Tobie Witzig work together.Back in 2007, the two family businesses MS Mail Service and rbc Solutions moved closer together; on June 1, 2015, the collaboration finally resulted in the current MS Direct AG. The company, led by the former CEO of rbc, Tobie Witzig, employs around 900 people at its locations in St. Gallen, Meilen, Muttenz, Wittenbach, Adligenswil and Lauterach (Austria) and generates an average annual turnover of around 100 million Swiss francs. According to Chairman of the Board of Directors and Group CEO Milo Stössel, there are no plans to cut jobs; on the contrary: "We want to continue to grow together with our customers."Different roots, one self-imageWhile the former MS Mail Service had concentrated on services for distance selling since it was founded by Peter Stössel in 1979, Heinz Rohrer developed his consulting company rbc Solutions into a respected full-service provider in contact management. The service portfolios of the two family businesses therefore complement each other perfectly. In addition, the two former companies were characterized by the same entrepreneurial values and virtues such as appreciation, trust and reliability. The merger was therefore only a matter of time: "Although MS Direct has different roots, it only has one mission and one self-image: to perceive, understand and win the customers of its clients as people," explains Milo Stössel.Full service provider in customer relationship management and e-commerceThe merger provides companies that wish to outsource all or part of their customer-related processes with support across all channels in the form of advice, services and systems. The services, which can be purchased either individually or as a complete package, include all steps involved in acquiring, retaining and winning back customers as well as selling products via online store or telephone, including the management of all goods flows. Customers include Swiss and foreign companies from all kinds of sectors, from start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to international corporations, including non-profit organizations, educational institutions, manufacturers and retailers operating in consumer markets or the industrial goods sector.
