Martin et Karczinski designs CD book by Dechen Shak-Dagsay
The new album *The Sound of Day Tomorrow* by the internationally acclaimed Tibetan-Swiss mantra singer Dechen Shak-Dagsay is accompanied by a book. It was conceived and designed by Trix Barmettler, who heads the «Design by Art» division at Martin et Karczinski.

The comprehensive CD book with songbook "The Sound of Day Tomorrow" shows the authenticity and message of Dechen Shak-Dagsay in a new light. It combines the traditional and the contemporary in a unique arc of tension, created by the choice of images, materials and design elements. The publication offers a very personal insight with photographs and picture collages from the artist's private life, accompanied by inspiring philosophical statements by Dechen Shak-Dagsay. The Dalai Lama's sister, Jetsun Pema, contributed the editorial; the renowned Swiss photographer Alberto Venzago contributed the expressive portrait for the cover. The words of thanks from Philip Glass testify to the wide circle of personalities with whom the artist, her composer Helge van Dyk and the Jewel Ensemble are associated.
For the first time, the additional songbook makes it possible to immerse yourself in the mantras and sing along to the contemporary interpretations. The mantras are offered in beautifully balanced typography (AS Yellow font by Aurel Sack) in the original Tibetan language with German, French and English translations. The publication is a message of peace and is aimed at a wide audience.
Martin et Karczinski attaches great importance to art and therefore not only actively supports artistic projects, but also addresses companies and institutions under the "Design by Art" label that want to benefit from the great power of artistic innovation in their presentation and communication or that want to better communicate their commitment to art.
