Lesch+Frei: Fighting hunger with organic farming
Lesch+Frei has created a striking key visual for Swissaid to highlight the fight against hunger. The campaign shows how Swissaid aims to combat poverty through organic farming.
A UN study has shown that conversion to organic farming is one of the most effective means of sustainably combating poverty and hunger in the South. That is why this year Swissaid has taken up the fight against hunger with organic farming and supports it, for example, in Myanmar (Burma) with numerous measures. These include organic farming courses, free local seeds and the purchase of buffaloes as harvest workers.
In this way, not only is something being done in a sustainable and forward-looking way to combat hunger in northern Myanmar, which is repeatedly rocked by civil war, but also to combat dependence on chemical fertilizers, toxic pesticides and expensive foreign seeds. Lesch+Frey supports the fight against hunger with a campaign. The posters (B12 and F200 format) have been on display throughout Switzerland since February 11. Together with filler ads, they accompany direct mailing and scattering.
