DD Com: Jelmoli streetcar for 180th birthday
Just in time for Jelmoli’s 180th anniversary, the DD Com agency is staging a particularly inspiring Zurich tram experience.
The striking branding in the outdoor area invites visitors to enter and immerse themselves in the Jelmoli worlds such as women's, men's, sports, beauty and accessories, according to a statement. Anyone strolling through the streetcar from front to back will experience Jelmoli en miniature - including brand diversity and service quality.
Jelmoli wants to present itself as a customer-oriented, friendly and highly innovative company: For example, the sports department surprises with a running track, the women's department shows samples of the current collection, and in the "Accessories and Travel" theme area a luggage conveyor belt ensures awareness among streetcar passengers. DD Com also sets the scene for the customer magazine, which is offered free of charge to every passenger: with large-scale images of editorial articles and key visuals. The agency also focused on coordinating the streetcar's information elements: the side panels of the seats, for example, are used as teaser text panels, while the "How to" section on the light strips clarifies everyday style issues.
An agenda of current Jelmoli events, special campaigns and promotions, and seasonal highlights round off the mobile shopping experience. Regular updates to the content ensure sustained communication with the target groups. The Jelmoli streetcar will be on the road from August 2013 to August 2014.
