Relaunch of Sbb.ch is "Master of Swiss Web 2018
The Best of Swiss Web Awards were presented in Zurich for the 18th time. In the Samsung Hall, which was very well attended by around 900 guests, the best digital projects and the "Master of Swiss Web 2018" were chosen in eleven specialist categories. This title as the best web project of the year was won by the relaunch of Sbb.ch.
For the first time, the "Werber des Jahres" (Advertiser of the Year), awarded by Werbewoche, was chosen and the Goldbach Crossmedia Awards were presented as part of the Best of Swiss Web Awards Night. This year's Advertiser of the Year was Livio Dainese; the Goldbach Crossmedia Awards went to the "Made Visible" project.
The relaunch of Sbb.ch wins the title "Master of Swiss Web 2018" and is thus the deserved overall winner of the 18th Best of Swiss Web Award Night. The development, commissioned by the Swiss Federal Railways and implemented by UNIC AG, together with Inside Solutions AG, convinced many of the total of 110 expert jury members, as well as the readers of the Netzticker and, in addition, the hall audience of the Award Night. In addition to the Master, the sbb.ch relaunch also won Gold in the Usability category.
70 awards in the categories
Of the 301 projects submitted to the Best of Swiss Web, 86 made it onto the shortlist, from which the 110-strong jury of experts finally selected 11 gold, 25 silver and 34 bronze winners. All of these projects received the corresponding prizes at the Award Night, as well as praise from the laudators and the jury presidents. The Award Night took place for the first time in the Samsung Hall.
