Last but not least: running shoes run

Advertising can inspire action. In Stockholm, passersby even ran across the street to receive a pair of sneakers from a Reebok ad.

The campaign is somewhat reminiscent of the timers that the police place at the side of the road to raise awareness ("You are driving at 31 km/h"). These also react to people running and provide entertainment accordingly - assuming sporting ambition and a good mood. In Stockholm, outdoor advertising met timepieces: anyone who ran faster than 17 km/h received a pair of "ZPump 2.0" sneakers as a gift. If you put your legs under your arms, you can do it. For comparison: a 100-meter runner reaches top speeds of well over 40km/h. So a feasible deal. Advertising that interacts with people, entertains them and ensures fun, games and happy faces can't be bad. (hae)
