Women's Euro 2025: Basel welcomes Europe

Yellow is supporting Basel Tourism with jointly developed measures to prepare the city of Basel for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.

After the Eurovision Song Contest and Art Basel, the next major international event is just around the corner. From July 2 to 27, the Uefa Women's Euro will be held in the city on the Rhine. Basel will serve as the central venue with the opening match between Switzerland and Norway and the final in St. Jakob-Park.

In addition to the legendary Basel football temple, fans of the nations visiting Basel will be welcomed in two fan zones on Barfüsserplatz and Messeplatz. In order to accompany this influx in a hospitable manner, Basel is relying on an initiative that goes beyond the classic welcome motifs. It focuses on encounters - and creates moments in which guests and the city's population can have a good time together.

Together with Basel Tourismus, the creative agency Yellow has developed an industry campaign with comprehensive applications that carries the football spirit into the various areas of the city and covers three areas: Tools for staff and guest communication, decorations and animations at the point of sale and design elements for shop windows and public spaces.

The applications enable service providers, including smaller businesses, to address the topic of football and internationality in their environment in an uncomplicated, playful and refreshing way. In this way, they can give their guests a warm welcome and make them feel at home during their stay.
