Rod and Ikea launch the Living Monitor 2025
With the IKEA Living Monitor 2025, the furniture brand is publishing quantitative data on home life in Switzerland for the first time. The study, designed by Rod, was covered by 103 media outlets and reached approximately 7 million people.

As a brand that understands home life like no other, Ikea is underpinning its knowledge with quantitative data for the first time. With the large Ikea Living Monitor, Rod and Ikea have created a format that fills a previously unproven data-based gap and provides new insights into life at home every year.
The results came from a representative study conducted by the Swiss market research institute Sotomo. This provides living insights on 50 pages. The data obtained also reveals what living means to people in Switzerland and strengthens Ikea's position as a voice for the topic of "Life at Home".
360° concept from a single source

National reporting and broad discussion
Because Ikea wants to stimulate dialog and open up new perspectives on life at home, the results of the survey were shared with the public. In total, the study was taken up in 103 media - including print, online, radio and TV formats. And with a reach of around 7.0 million contacts.
In addition to coverage in traditional news media, the Wohnmonitor was also discussed in high-reach entertainment formats - and picked up by Radio Energy or the SRF program Late Night Switzerland with Stefan Büsser.
In addition, the study received numerous contributions and reactions on social media, where individual aspects were taken up and commented on. The reactions show that the Ikea Living Monitor was able to initiate the desired discourse and bring the topic into a broad public debate.
