Publicis Zurich: Politics at eye and ear level
It’s that time of year again in early November: As part of the Youth Session, the younger generation takes over the Federal Palace. The campaign «Don’t know anything about politics? Give us a call!» aims to get young people excited about politics and promote the Youth Session. It includes a specially set up helpline.

The new Publicis campaign aims to bridge this generation gap. It takes the form of a helpline for young people. They can call 0800 150 100 and have complex political issues explained to them on the phone by their peers. The whole thing works with an automated answering system in all three national languages. At the other end of the line are Loucas, Luisa and Rubie. Three young people who explain the housing situation in Switzerland, the future of e-mobility and the importance of European politics in a free and unfiltered way. Always followed by the promotion of the youth session. In addition to political education, the campaign also aims to generate registrations. With the newly acquired political skills, they are practically prepared for the intensive debating in the Federal Parliament.
Following the example set in Bern, the young people were also firmly in control of the design and implementation of this campaign. The project team, consisting of apprentices and graphic designers, realized all communication measures from start to finish on their own.
