Publicis Zurich for Youth Session: "I swear" by modern politics
The upcoming Youth Session is being promoted with a cheeky campaign by Publicis Zurich. The campaign aims to attract young people to the Federal Palace with topics such as kebab prices and gaming terminology. It offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the Rütli Oath.

How do you get young people interested in politics? In the new campaign for the Federal Youth Session, Publicis Zurich is focusing on topics that really move young people - and their authentic language.
Under the motto "I swear", the historical Rütli oath is transported into the present. The campaign takes up topics that Generation Z is passionate about: From cheaper kebab prices and free tampons to less "NPC" in politics. The gaming term NPC (non-player character) describes people who only passively participate in events - a role that many young people feel forced into in politics.
The Youth Session aims to change exactly that: As one of the largest national participation projects, it gives young people a voice on the political stage in the Federal Parliament. There, they can voice their concerns directly and lend them weight.
The nationwide campaign dramatizes the participation of Generation Z in the modern Rütli oath creatively via various channels: The messages will be spread via social media, TikTok videos and Instagram posts, as well as displayed as posters in schools and on T-shirts. The youth session will take place from November 6 to 9 in Bern.
