Peace Tea, a Coca-Cola brand, is making a creative statement in Zurich's cityscape: together with the renowned urban artist Redl, the first VBZ streetcar designed by a street artist has been realized. The project combines urban art with public transport, bringing fresh color to the everyday lives of Zurich residents.

"It is important to us to create spaces in which people can develop creatively," explains Anna Cremer, Senior Marketing Manager at The Coca-Cola Company. "With the Peace Tea Tram, we want to show that there is room for creativity everywhere - even where you might not expect it. We hope that the streetcar will bring a smile to people's faces - and make them want to see their own everyday lives as a little more colorful."

The collaboration marks a first for Peace Tea: it is the first time the brand has worked with an urban artist. Redl, who has been shaping the Swiss urban art scene for over 20 years, has developed an exclusive design for the project that combines the characteristic Peace Tea look with his unmistakable illustration style.

"The fact that I was able to create the first officially designed streetcar in Zurich together with my team means a lot to me," says Redl. "What I appreciate about the collaboration with Peace Tea is that our art is given this visibility. Urban art started a long time ago in New York on moving trains - and now to see a streetcar like this driving through Zurich is something very special for me."

The Peace Tea streetcar is now operating on the regular VBZ route network. The campaign follows the Swiss market launch of Peace Tea in spring 2025 and underlines the urban character of the brand and its proximity to a young, open and creative target group.
