Mediaschneider is celebrating its 25th anniversary in summer 2026 and is once again demonstrating its ability to evolve in line with market and customer needs. The media agency is reshaping its management and positioning itself for increasingly complex media planning.
New top management for changing market requirements
The traditional boundaries between media are dissolving, media planning is changing fundamentally and becoming more complex. No campaign can be planned in the same way as the campaign before. Technology, content and use are merging, and media strategies need to be even more creative and at the same time more in line with holistic communication concepts. Media, creation, clients and marketers must work even more closely together.
Christoph Bürge (58) has worked in consultancy and management roles in the world of communications in Switzerland and abroad for over 30 years - including as co-owner of KSB Krieg Schlupp Bürge and MRB Metzger Rottmann Bürge. In 2024, Bürge founded Smple Creative Strategy, a strategy consultancy for brands, marketing and communication, with which he will remain active. Christoph Bürge not only brings management experience to Mediaschneider, but also strategy and consulting expertise in all communication disciplines. He will take over the overall management of Mediaschneider as CEO on December 1, 2025.

Monika Mäder returns to Mediaschneider in a new role
Mäder is a proven media expert with almost 20 years of professional experience, including around 14 years in various activities and management positions at the Omnicom Media Group. Her focus has always been on integrated communication planning across all media channels and disciplines. As CCO Chief Client Officer from December 1, 2025, Monika Mäder will be responsible for the operational business, for managing the consultancy and for holistic media planning with all specialists in the agency.
In the course of this reorganization, Helen Seligmann leaves the agency and remains on friendly terms with Mediaschneider.
Moritz Schneider focuses on digital expertise
Moritz Schneider (40) had successfully led the digital agency Hoy since 2016 and managed the agency for four years following its integration into Mediaschneider in 2022. In future, the son of founder Urs Schneider will once again focus on his area of specialization and, as a digital expert, on further expanding the digital world in media planning: data analytics, programmatic, SEA/SEO and social media.
Alexandre Gilliard (48) joins the Executive Board as CFO. Gilliard has already held this position on the agency's Executive Board since 2020.
Urs Schneider continues as CEO and says with conviction: "With this realignment of agency management, we are giving the market and our clients the best possible organization so that every advertising franc counts for more than 100 centimes. We are continuously developing and are the strong Swiss alternative to the international network agencies."
Mediaschneider has been independent and family-owned since 2001. Mediaschneider plans and implements individual, data-based and creative media campaigns across all channels. Always with the aim of achieving maximum success with every advertising investment. The Mediaschneider Group also includes Mediaschneider Bern and TWM The Whole Media in Basel. The Mediaschneider Group serves leading Swiss companies and over ten percent of the media volume in Switzerland.
