Kreisvier brings in David Lübke as Executive Creative Director
The Basel-based agency Kreisvier is investing in additional creative talent and has hired David Lübke as Executive Creative Director. The former Creative Director at Publicis most recently worked as a freelancer and was responsible, among other things, for the current Swisscom platform «Discover What You Can Do.».

In terms of size and turnover, Kreisvier Communications in Basel is one of the ten largest advertising agencies in Switzerland. To ensure that this is also reflected in future creative rankings - and above all in the minds of potential clients - the owner-managed agency is investing in additional creative power and bringing David Lübke on board. The long-standing Creative Director at Publicis has been responsible for the agency's creative output as Executive Creative Director since November 2025.
"At Kreisvier, I can dedicate myself to a task that is probably unique in Switzerland," says Lübke about his appointment. "There's this gem in Basel, which is in a great economic position and has a lot of great people, but is not yet as top-of-mind creatively as it deserves to be. I can't imagine a better starting point for a creative. My job description is basically just: make awesome stuff and talk about it. And that's exactly the plan."
Focus on concepts and big ideas
Alexandra Vatansever, CEO of Kreisvier, is also counting on this: "We are and have always been leaders in production and process-oriented creation. At the same time, we know that we often fly under the radar, even though we have been delivering strong work and sustainable results in Basel for years. With Dave, we are not only bringing in an experienced and decorated creative, but also a real sparring partner for our ambitions. He brings the focus on concepts and big ideas that we need for our next chapter. His energy and attitude are a huge asset to us - and we are very proud that he has chosen Kreisvier."
From Publicis to freelancing to Kreisvier
Lübke worked for Publicis Zurich from 2010 to 2024, most recently as a member of the management board. His highlights include the Salt rebranding, campaigns for Calanda, Swiss, Ricola and Victorinox as well as the Beatles-singing Roger Federer for Sunrise. From 2024 until his start at Kreisvier, he was a freelancer and during this time created the current Swisscom platform "Discover what you can do", among other things.
Kreisvier is an owner-managed creative agency based in Basel. The agency supports brands and companies in successfully standing out in the digital and analog world. Around 50 specialists from the fields of consulting, strategy, creation, production and technology work today on communication that will have an impact tomorrow.
