Kraftkom wins award for most beautiful Swiss special stamp 2025
The commemorative stamp designed by the St. Gallen-based agency Kraftkom for the Glarnerland+ Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival (ESAF 2025) was voted «Switzerland’s Most Beautiful Commemorative Stamp of 2025.» The design is based on Samuel Jenni’s famous edelweiss fabric pattern and impressed with its design, texture, and story.

The special stamp was commissioned by Swiss Post. The motif is based on the well-known Edelweiss fabric pattern by Samuel Jenni, who is known for his Märithüsli textile shirts. The pattern stands for tradition, down-to-earthness and a connection to Swiss culture - values that are deeply rooted in wrestling.
Thanks to the special paper with a textile feel and fine embossing, the stamp almost feels as if you are touching a real Edelweiss shirt. Each stamp is a small piece of this unique pattern. Combined together in a sheet, the complete fabric pattern is created - a detail that you can see and feel.
