TCS takes over school road safety campaign until 2027
The TCS is committed to ensuring safe routes to school and will lead the national prevention campaign from 2025 to 2027. The goal is to raise awareness among motorists and protect children from danger.
Year after year, children have accidents on the way to school - a situation that the TCS wants to change sustainably with a broad-based prevention campaign. Following a rigorous selection process, the Road Safety Fund (FVS) has approved the TCS concept for the years 2025 to 2027.
The campaign, developed with the Farner communications agency, raises awareness among motorized road users of the risks associated with school routes. Barbara Sutter, Head of Prevention Campaigns at TCS, explains: "Children often react unpredictably - and this is also evident when they are close to roads. The campaign aims to sensitize drivers to this and help them develop the necessary reflexes to make routes to school safe for children."
In addition to posters and banners, the TCS relies on close cooperation with the police, teachers, parents and local authorities. Information material and targeted measures are intended to promote responsible behavior in road traffic. With this initiative, the TCS is underlining its long-standing role as a central force for road safety in Switzerland.
