SIX repositions itself: Employer branding with heart and strategy
SIX is revamping its employer branding strategy with Sergeant. The new EVP, «What sets us apart drives us ahead,» combines authentic values with a clear employer message.
In the face of a challenging talent market, SIX has redefined its employer brand. In collaboration with the Zurich agency Sergeant, a holistic employer branding strategy was developed based on the new Employer Value Proposition (EVP) "What sets us apart drives us ahead".
The EVP summarizes what makes SIX special as an employer: the combination of tradition and innovation, stability and growth as well as local roots and global relevance. "The aim was to create an EVP that is more than just a slogan," explains Alice Scaroni, Senior Employer Branding Specialist at SIX. "It had to be an authentic reflection of the corporate culture that employees could identify with."
Bringing values to life in everyday life
The new strategy was implemented along the entire employee life cycle. "A strong employer brand is created when the values can be felt at all levels," says Lea Lingg, Project Manager at Sergeant. The agency designed the EVP messages in such a way that they become tangible for employees in their everyday lives - from recruitment to long-term retention.
Focus on authenticity: a testimonial campaign
One highlight of the new strategy is the multilingual testimonial campaign, which was produced in summer 2023 with the support of the EFFEKT agency. In unscripted interviews, employees talk about their experiences and their development at SIX. These authentic insights not only appeal to potential talent, but also strengthen the existing workforce's sense of belonging.
By combining strategic employer branding and authenticity, SIX is making a strong statement on the talent market and underlining its position as a modern and attractive employer.
