Safer sex remains
On November 14, 2016, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) will launch its new «Love-Life» campaign, which addresses the issue of changing partners. The slogan is: «Partners change. Safe sex stays.»

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) were on the rise in 2015. Gonorrhea increased by 23 percent year-on-year, syphilis by 7 percent and chlamydia by 5 percent, whereas the number of HIV cases remained stable. This trend can be observed throughout Europe. The figures show that prevention efforts must continue.
Frequent change of sexual partner significantly increases the risk of infection with sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis. The use of a condom greatly reduces this risk and prevents the transmission of HIV. For this reason, the FOPH, the Swiss AIDS Federation and Sexual Health Switzerland are launching a Love Life campaign on November 14, 2016, which once again emphasizes the importance of adhering to the safer sex rules.
1. penetrative sexual intercourse always with condom.
2. do not put semen and blood in your mouth.
3. in case of flu symptoms after unprotected sex as well as itching, burning, discharge or other complaints in the intimate area, see a doctor immediately.
Those who strictly adhere to the motto "Partner changes. Safer sex stays." can protect themselves from HIV infection and reduce the risk of contracting other STIs. The campaign created by Rod Kommunikation lasts three weeks and includes posters, a short film broadcast at the busiest train stations, and measures in the online media and social networks.
