Orell Füssli Branding Wall with reading samples to take away at Zurich HB

Orell Füssli Thalia is launching a unique campaign in the Bahnhofstrasse passageway of Zurich’s main train station: a large-scale branding display combined with two illuminated advertising panels, which the company has covered with book excerpts.

Under the motto "O you happy reading time - books to give and wish for", passers-by can help themselves from the wall and take a reading sample with them on their way. "We want to encourage commuters to pick up a book again when they travel by train," says Coralie Klaus-Boecker, Head of Marketing & Communications at Orell Füssli Thalia. "With the reading samples, we want to share our passion for books with passers-by and show how quickly and enjoyably time can pass on a long train journey when you immerse yourself in a book."

Two reading samples in the first two weeks

The Orell Füssli Branding Wall is in a prominent location in Shopville, right next to the Orell Füssli branch, which reopened in mid-November after a brief renovation phase. If commuters like the reading sample, they can buy the book right next door and finish reading it. The book retailer will offer two different reading samples. The first 30 pages of the book "New Friends for Gabriel" by Sunil Mann, published by Orell Füssli Verlag, will be the first. On the night of December 3 to 4, the posters were covered with a total of 300 reading samples. The second reading sample, which passers-by will be able to enjoy the following week, is an excerpt from the title "Tick Tack" by Megan Miranda, published by Penguin Verlag. The book pages will be on display while stocks last.
