More sauce on the nuggets? TBWA\Zurich reacts to McDonald's fan culture
Since you can't get enough of the sauces and nuggets, TBWA\Zürich presents the next step: the Deeper Dip Sauce.
A global trend: For months now, the McDonald’s community has been discussing on social media how to get the most sauce on their Chicken McNuggets. Why? Because while everyone has a different favorite sauce, they all agree that there’s never enough of it. Fans are sharing their hacks with each other. Dip? Squeeze? Put the sauce and nuggets in the box and shake it all up? There are no limits to creativity. «We've listened to our fans and are now giving them what they want—namely, the amount of sauce their Chicken McNuggets deserve,», According to Jessica Dumoulin, marketing consultant at McDonald’s Switzerland.
The McDonald’s Sauce Festival has been underway since October 8, during which, in addition to four new sauces, the Deeper Dip Sauce was also launched. However, it is available in only three flavors. «Following the Nuggets of Love, we’re thrilled to have once again teamed up with McDonald’s to create a product that emerged from fan culture.», says Manuel Wenzel, Chief Creative Officer at TBWA\Zurich. The Deeper Dip Sauce is now being introduced to McDonald’s fans through various advertising materials, such as posters, banners, and TV commercials.
