Go Slow and Georg Baumewerd develop campaign for the Lindenhof Group
March is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. On behalf of the Lindenhof Group, a campaign by Bern-based agency Go Slow and concept designer Georg Baumewerd reminds people to take advantage of the opportunities offered by screening. The message "Today is a good day" is intended to send a positive signal.
The Bern Colorectal Center of the Lindenhof Group brings together a wide range of expertise in the field of colorectal cancer - from screening, diagnosis and treatment to aftercare. The Bern agency Go Slow and concept developer Georg Baumewerd were commissioned to develop a campaign for Bowel Cancer Awareness Month in March. This is intended to make the people of Bern more aware of the opportunities offered by screening and increase awareness of the center.
If bowel cancer is detected early, the chances of recovery are between 80 and 90 percent. Nevertheless, prevention is still an uncomfortable topic for many people. This is why the concept motivates the target groups with positive messages under the motto: "Today is a good day". The key visuals focus on the feeling you get when you have done something good for yourself. After taking care of yourself, for example, after doing sport or eating a healthy diet.
To spread this feeling, the campaign uses owned media such as newsletters, LinkedIn posts, flyers, screens and web content as well as paid media such as YouTube ads. The anchor of the campaign is a specially created landing page that bundles and links information on the Lindenhof Group's expertise.
"Good messages have a better chance of reaching people," Evelyn Baumann, Head of Marketing & Communication at the Lindenhof Group, is convinced. "The campaign seizes this opportunity and arouses the interest of the target groups. Both for the topic of prevention and for the Lindenhof Group as an expert in the field of oncology. It also strengthens the positive, human image of the Lindenhof Group."
Responsible at the Lindenhof Group: Evelyn Baumann (Head of Marketing & Communication). Implementation: Georg Baumewerd (concept, text editing), Go Slow (concept, design), Unlocked (programming), Fabian Hugo (photography and moving image).
