Galaxus is once again painfully close to real life
When the dream trip crashes before take-off: In four new commercials, Galaxus takes off and shatters the cliché of carefree air travel. The new measures are part of the campaign series that shows situations related to the real lives of consumers.
As we all know, the best journey is the next one. And so the new Galaxus commercials begin with vignettes full of romanticized wanderlust. But the idyllic dream of flying lands abruptly on the hard ground of the well-known reality of travel. Galaxus not only takes aim at the beautiful promises of relevant advertisements, but also at the attitude of the passengers themselves.
For example, the storage compartment in the cabin doesn't want to do the same as the passenger in a tight squeeze. Another time, the young man tells his girlfriend that he has offset the CO2 emissions for the flight. Somehow, somewhere. And in another spot, a heated discussion breaks out about the chemtrail conspiracy theory.
A special feature of the broadcast this time: in addition to the films, further short scenes were shot directly at Zurich Airport. For example, on the way to the gate or at the baggage carousel. Galaxus is also playing the short clips at precisely these locations in order to highlight the stumbling blocks of life directly on site.
The current spots can be seen until April 20, 2025 in German- and French-speaking Switzerland in cinemas, on TV and web TV as well as online. At Zurich Airport, the campaign will also run until the spring break.
