Friendly Greetings has developed the world's first live generated cab soundtrack
When you take a taxi, you can fully immerse yourself in your surroundings. This is especially true on a ride through Vienna. Friendly greetings and the Austrian hearing care chain Hansaton provide the perfect personalized soundtrack: The Soundtaxi offers passengers an audio experience tailored specifically to their ride through the city.

"Hansaton" is one of the leading providers of hearing solutions in Austria with 95 branches. To draw attention to its first-class hearing expertise, Hansaton has launched the world's first Sound Taxi in Vienna and, thanks to state-of-the-art technology, grants passengers an individual hearing experience at the highest level.
Music generated in real time
The concept and application were developed by Freundliche Grüsse in close collaboration with Viennese composers David Menke and Benjamin Wuthe. The Sound Taxi application generates a classical piece of music in real time. The music fragments are modular and shorten or lengthen depending on the travel time. This guarantees a harmonious music experience even in a traffic jam or at red lights. The music fragments are precisely adapted to the surroundings via GPS during the journey and provide each passenger with an individual soundtrack.
Thus, fine, classical sounds resound along the Danube. As the speed increases, the music also picks up the pace. In the city center, the music responds to sights such as the Vienna State Opera, among others. Shortly before reaching the destination, the music takes on epic proportions and reaches its peak upon arrival. Meanwhile, passengers are shown the nearest Hansaton stores on a screen. The Sound Taxi travels between Vienna Airport and the city center. A stand at the airport invites people to board.
