EDiii and ECAP: Language Courses Presented in an Emotional Way on Social Media
The Zurich-based agency EDiii has developed a multilingual social media campaign for ECAP that connects with people from immigrant backgrounds in the context of their everyday lives—through authentic storytelling and targeted distribution.

EDiii and ECAP: When Language Becomes an Emotional Barrier
The Zurich-based agency EDiii, in collaboration with ECAP, has developed and implemented a multilingual social media campaign that speaks directly to people with immigrant backgrounds in the context of their everyday lives. At the heart of the EDiii-ECAP campaign is the emotional challenge of navigating everyday life in a new language—an issue that many immigrants in Switzerland grapple with on a daily basis.
Intensity through close-ups and everyday sounds
The campaign’s videos deliberately use intense close-ups and everyday sounds such as ringing phones, keyboard clicks, or hectic environments. The aim is to make the feeling of being overwhelmed by language an emotional experience. The scene then opens up: real people share how ECAP has helped them learn German and communicate with greater confidence in Switzerland.
This authentic storytelling approach was a deliberate choice. Rather than promotional staging, the focus is on real experiences—an approach designed to speak to the target audience on an equal footing and build trust.
Goal: To raise awareness of ECAP's language courses
The campaign aims to raise awareness of ECAP’s language course offerings and to target potential students through social media. In addition to the concept, EDiii handled the entire creative and operational implementation—from storytelling and script development through production and post-production to campaign management and targeted distribution on social media.
