Agence Trio promotes "Vaud you want!"

Can domestic tourism be exotic? Vaud Promotion says yes and is launching a campaign in Switzerland filled with summer sunshine and promising unexpected discoveries. Agence Trio is providing the right atmosphere.

After Agence Trio had already implemented a campaign in 2020, Vaud Promotion also wanted a strong positioning of the canton as an indispensable vacation and leisure destination this summer. In contrast to last year, when the focus was on safety because of Covid, this time the emphasis was placed on the joy of discovery. The focus of the communication this time is water as the ultimate vacation symbol. The campaign stages the unexpected exoticism in one's own country and promises summer vacations in "Vaud-Mood" far away from the gray everyday life. This hashtag serves as the campaign's signature and under Myvaud.ch you will find over 100 leisure activities and surprising vacation experiences in the canton of Vaud.

The campaign is divided into three phases. First, it reminds people of the "Vaud à la Carte" gift card. The second stage uses the slogan "Come to Vaud-Mood" to show how close unexpected vacation fun is. To this end, a gray, untidy room is juxtaposed with a magnificent swimming beach. A jump in a bathing suit is enough to change from one world to another. The concluding third phase shows the variety of vacation activities at Vaud-Mood.

The beaches of Yvonand, Ouchy and Montreux are conquering the national scene, appearing across the country on large-format posters in the city centers of Zurich, Basel, Bern, Lucerne and St. Gallen, as well as in a broad digital campaign on both sides of the Röstigraben. Between native advertising and promotion on social networks, Agence Trio and Vaud Promotion invite internauts to swap their screens for a header into the land of freedom.

After barely a month, the platform counted several tens of thousands of visitors and already around a thousand vacation passes had been issued. "As lead agency, Trio has proven its creativity and professionalism in a tourism uncertain environment with constantly changing parameters and has created and rolled out an effective image and activation campaign in a short time," says Pierre-André Gremaud, Director Marketing & Communication of Vaud Promotion.
