Jung von Matt transforms office building into Advent calendar at Rigiplatz
Jung von Matt is bringing the Christmas spirit to Zurich’s 6th district. The agency is transforming its new office building on Rigiplatz into a giant Advent calendar with 24 windows. Behind the little doors are messages to local characters, Christmas surprises, and various services offered by the agency.
"Hi Cristina. Nice to have you!" is written on the door of the Jung von Matt Advent calendar on December 3. Cristina is the Rigiplatz original. She is on site every day and chats to passers-by and municipal employees. "Cristina is an asset to the neighborhood and we want to thank her for that," explains Christian Kies, Chief Creative Officer at Jung von Matt.
But Cristina is not the only one who plays a role in Jung von Matt's Advent calendar. Customers were also involved in the creation, art by employees is part of the calendar and on certain days you can simply get a coffee to go. In addition, various agency services are hidden behind the doors, be it a free Christmas speech or a portrait shoot.
24 dark green Christmas wishes
The idea of transforming the building on Rigiplatz into an Advent calendar was an obvious one. The window front overlooking the square consists of exactly 24 windows. An agency-wide brainstorming session brought together the best ideas, which now adorn the 24 windows. "A gift from us to the whole of Kreis 6, so to speak, and also something for Zurich. Everyone is cordially invited to stop by. If you catch the right day, there's also the chance to win something," says Kies.
