DOOH Creative Challenge 2025 in Düsseldorf: 18 awards for creative excellence
The award, presented by the Institute for Digital Out of Home Media (IDOOH), is part of W&V’s creative rankings and recognized 18 outstanding DOOH campaigns in its anniversary year. Among the award-winning companies are AOK Baden-Württemberg, the BMW Group, and Deutsche Telekom.

A total of 18 prizes were awarded to mark the fifth anniversary of the creative competition for the best DOOH campaigns in the DACH region. The award, presented by the Institute for Digital Out of Home Media (IDOOH), counts towards W&V's creative ranking and is considered a seismograph for creative excellence in digital out-of-home advertising.
Around 200 guests celebrated the winners at the award show on October 9 in Düsseldorf. The high-caliber jury awarded the prize in various categories, including "Best of DOOH Creation", "Best of Innovative DOOH", "Best Use of Data" and in the new category "Best of DOOH Content".
The gold winners include the "Donating blood hurts less" campaign by Saint Elmo's for the Bavarian Red Cross (Best of DOOH Creation), the "UEFA EURO 2024 Goal Alert" by Ströer Media Solutions for Deutsche Telekom (Best Use of Data) and "Kick it like Alex" by Elastique for Deutsche Telekom (Best of Innovative DOOH).
The young talent category "DCC YoungSTARS" was particularly enhanced this year: first place received 1 billion contacts with a gross media value of 8 million euros as well as 5,000 euros in cash for the first time. Gold went to the campaign "The biggest DOOH in the world" by students at IU International University.
"Every year, the DOOH Creative Challenge shows how diverse and powerful digital out-of-home can be used," says Frank Goldberg, Managing Director of IDOOH and Chairman of the jury. "On the anniversary, we can see particularly clearly how creatively the medium is being used - from emotional storytelling to data-driven real-time campaigns."
