Keim Identity refreshes Twerenbold's brand image
Just in time for its 130th anniversary, Twerenbold has revamped its brand identity. The agency Keim Identity sharpened the brand positioning, modernized the logo, and developed a comprehensive design concept that combines tradition and innovation.
In view of its 130th anniversary, travel provider Twerenbold has updated its brand identity. The aim of the refresh was to appeal to both existing and new target groups. The Keim Identity agency carried out a touchpoint analysis, an environmental analysis and qualitative interviews with internal and external stakeholders.
The result is a sharpened brand positioning and the new claim "Travel culture that inspires". This underlines the diversity of the offering, which ranges from city breaks to music and bike tours to coach trips. The logo has been carefully modernized while retaining the characteristic features of the brand.
"A brand identity for a company whose success is still based on a strong family commitment must reinforce the joy of carrying a long tradition into the future," explains Christine Keim from Keim Identity. "The employees who carry on this family culture were a valuable indicator for the development of the appropriate brand world."
The new corporate design integrates the distinctive tail of the logo as a secondary design element and is used consistently in online and print media. A new CD manual and numerous applications were created as part of the redesign, including a revised website, catalogs, advertisements and the bus design. The various target groups are addressed with specific communication media that appeal to both sports and cultural travel.
