Swiss Ice Hockey restructures Instagram channels
The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation is splitting its Instagram presence to present content in a more targeted manner. The existing @swissicehockeyfederation account will become @swissicehockeymen and will focus on the men’s national teams. A new federation channel, @swissicehockeyfederation, is being launched to cover overarching topics.
The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation is optimizing its communication on Instagram by strategically realigning its channels. The established and verified Instagram channel @swissicehockeyfederation has been given a new name and will be run as Swiss Ice Hockey Men's National Teams (@swissicehockeymen) in future. This channel will focus exclusively on reporting on the men's senior national team and the men's junior national teams.
At the same time, a new official federation channel was launched under the name Swiss Ice Hockey Federation (@swissicehockeyfederation). This channel will serve as a central platform for overarching federation topics. This includes content on the National Cup, Swiss Ice Hockey Day, Swiss Ice Hockey Night, the MyHockey League and junior and amateur sport. The areas of education and officiating also find their media home here.
The existing channels of the PostFinance Women's League (@postfinance_womensleague) and the Sky Swiss League (@skyswissleagueofficial) will remain unchanged and continue to enjoy growing popularity. The newly introduced @swissicehockeywomen channel, which aims to give Swiss women's ice hockey more visibility and recognition, will also be continued.
This restructuring gives Swiss Ice Hockey a better overview and allows it to address the various target groups more specifically. The organization invites those interested in ice hockey to follow both new channels in order to continue to experience the fascination of ice hockey in all its facets.
