Digitalswitzerland and AI Bridge launch Swiss AI Accelerator

The new Swiss AI Accelerator implementation program helps Swiss companies integrate generative AI into their business processes in a targeted manner. The courses begin in the fall.

für zukunftsorientierteAccording to a new study by Raiffeisen only 9 % of companies in Germany use AI systematically. 37 % do not use it at all - and 15 % state that they are not informed about current developments and possible applications. At the same time, market requirements are increasing rapidly. Many companies are hesitant because they are confronted with three key challenges:

● Unclear: where to start? Too many tools, too little orientation.
● High costs: lack of time, budget and personnel for comprehensive AI initiatives.
● Skills shortage: internal know-how is lacking, external experts are hard to find.

Franziska Barmettler, CEO of digitalswitzerland, also recognizes the need for action: "Many digitalswitzerland members are small and medium-sized enterprises. They see the opportunities of AI for their companies, but at the same time often lack the capacity to deal with the topic in detail. As a result, potential remains untapped. This is precisely where the Swiss AI Accelerator comes in." Over 70 discussions with Swiss management have shown: "We know that we have to act if we want to remain competitive in the medium term. But we don't know how to make concrete progress." The result: missed opportunities in automation, efficiency and innovation - and real competitive disadvantages compared to companies that are already successfully using AI.

"Today, competitiveness is inextricably linked to the ability to use new technologies in a targeted and effective manner. The Swiss AI Accelerator enables
It brings companies into implementation and creates tangible results," says Philippe Nantermod, National Councillor and member of the Advisory Board of the Swiss AI Accelerator.

The program

The program is aimed at companies that have already gained initial experience with tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot - and now want to systematically develop AI applications and integrate them into their business. In three clearly structured months, they develop:

● A practical, feasible AI strategy
● Relevant, prioritized use cases
● A data protection-compliant chatbot prototype based on your own business data

Participants meet every two weeks in Zurich for focused face-to-face sessions. The program is supplemented by individual coaching and peer exchange. All activities are designed to achieve impact - not to teach theory.

What makes the program special?

● Focus on implementation instead of pure training
● Cost-efficient and resource-saving
● Access to experienced AI experts from Switzerland
● Three central tracks - business, tech and community: specialists and managers work together on concrete solutions
