Increase the conversion rate thanks to bots

"Can I help you?"More and more often we encounter bots on websites offering their help. Bots, a short form of Robot, are small helpers that assist us in my buying process when visiting the website or in an e-shop. These bots are nothing more than small software programs designed to serve a specific purpose. The goal is that, thanks to artificial intelligence, they will one day be able to replace humans and thus answer your questions around the clock.Recently, I had the privilege of giving a presentation for Allianz Suisse. While preparing it, I came across a bot on their website. I engaged the bot in a conversation and pretended to be an interested customer. Only later did I realize that it was a person pretending to be a bot, with a real name of course. But soon it will be just the other way around, that the bot will behave like a human being. And soon we will no longer know whether it was a bot or a person who helped us with our questions. Artificial intelligence is currently developing exponentially at breakneck speed. That's why this scenario is probably possible very soon. How should a bot help increase conversion rates? Please imagine that you are looking for a certain product or service. Sooner or later, during your research, you land on a website, a blog or an e-shop. Most of the time, we don't buy right away, but still have questions if it's a product that needs clarification.Especially now in this phase of great interest, it's helpful if they don't let you go off, but that you stay in the "store" while you're there. Otherwise, you would be gone in a few clicks and it would be uncertain whether you would stop by again. This happened to me recently myself. I am in the process of buying promising cryptocurrencies. In the process, I came across the Swiss project tend.swiss, which someone had recommended to me. To better explain, cryptocurrencies are not just currencies that are hyped like bitcoin, but are modern forms of participation. Instead of a share, you now buy tokens that are held on a blockchain, rather than on a public exchange. So I Googled the provider https://www.tend.swiss. There I immediately contacted the bot. In the screenshot below you can read the beginning of my conversation with the bot.

In a lengthy dialog, the bot answered my questions, offered me links and PDFs. If that hadn't happened, I probably would have quickly abandoned. For me, the conversion rate was positive because I enrolled in the project and invested in it.At the very end, I asked the "bot" if it was a bot or a human. He was still a human. But I wonder when he will be replaced by a bot with artificial intelligence?
