In 2006, after several years as head of news at Bluewin.ch and head of department at the Aargauer Zeitung, Gamma switched from journalism to communications. He then worked for seven years as a senior consultant at the digital agency Getunik, where he got to know and love the IT sector. Now he is returning to journalism. The 54-year-old is a native of Zurich and has a soft spot for football and culture.

Christoph Hugenschmidt, who took over the management of the two most important Swiss IT media on an interim basis a year ago, will remain a reporter and Managing Director of the publishing house. Hugenschmidt: "The fact that we have succeeded in attracting a distinguished journalist and communications professional like Marcel Gamma makes us proud. It shows that we have managed to develop and occupy a fine niche in the Swiss media landscape with quality journalism." The arrival of Marcel Gamma is a step towards further expanding the editorial team. An additional journalist position is currently open.

Last but not least: Friendship service

AT&T customers go to the movies on Tuesdays—and bring a friend along for free. BBDO shows that this friend can really be anyone.

The U.S. telecom provider lures customers into theaters. And ensures that loading has never been as easy as with the "Ticket Twosdays" promotion. You can invite someone, but you don't have to pay for the extra person. BBDO's humorous campaign highlights the promotion's key advantage: you can invite anyone you want - the person you choose doesn't have to be an AT&T customer or meet any other requirements. (hae)
