Rod creates launch campaign for Credit Suisse's Viva Kids
Credit Suisse launches Viva Kids, a new banking package for children. Rod Kommunikation has created an extensive launch campaign for this.

How do you teach children the value of money when it no longer exists only in the form of notes and coins, but is increasingly available digitally and therefore no longer visible? Credit Suisse is now launching Viva Kids, a new banking package that teaches children how to handle money responsibly through play. At the heart of this financial education ecosystem is the "Digipigi" digital piggy bank (development and production: Zühlke Engineering), which looks like a traditional piggy bank on the outside, but uses the possibilities of the "Internet of Things" on the inside. It communicates with a children's app and a parent app (developed by Shape) via the in-house WLAN, which can be used to set savings goals, track balances or manage pocket money payments, for example. The package also includes a savings account with 5% interest (for the first 1,000 francs) and a Maestro card for children aged seven and over.

Digipigi stands for the new way of saving and is the star in communication. With a 360-degree launch concept by Rod Kommunikation under the motto "This is how children save today", Digipigi is marketed as a high-tech gadget: product-centered, desirable, cool and fun. The campaign idea is based on the interaction between savings passbooks, apps and children - and showcases one of Digipigi's fascinating product features: facial expressions. Digipigi is able to interact with the child using 25 facial expressions. The headlines, which follow the style of the campaign motto, are a perfect match. The communication kicked off with Digipigi's media presentation on August 29, which was well received by the media, even beyond the country's borders.
