After more than eight years at cptr, Michel Mariani will join 20 Minuten in August as Chief Commercial Officer. Sacha Prost will take over international commercial responsibilities, while Jan Bachmann will lead the Swiss commercial team.

Michel Mariani is leaving cptr after more than eight years to take on the role of Chief Commercial Officer at 20 Minuten from August. He will remain with the company until then and will be closely involved in the transition. Mariani has played a decisive role in shaping cptr over many years and has made an important contribution to the establishment and further development of the company.

During his time at cptr, he was instrumental in developing the business departments and played a key role in shaping the company's marketing. In recent years, he has had overall commercial responsibility for the cptr Group and led the successful development of the Austrian business, among other things.

Sacha Prost takes on international responsibility

Following the departure of Michel Mariani, Sacha Prost will assume overall international responsibility for the Commercial division. Prost recently took over the management of cptr and has worked closely with Michel Mariani over the past few months. This ensures that international commercial responsibility will continue seamlessly and strategic development will be consistently pursued.

Jan Bachmann is the new head of the Swiss Commercial team

Jan Bachmann will assume responsibility for the Swiss market as Head of Commercial Switzerland. Bachmann has been with cptr for five years and knows the company, the products and the market inside out. Having started in Campaign Management, he has developed into a central point of contact for customers and partners across various functions in the Commercial division. In his new role, he will assume responsibility for the Commercial Team Switzerland, consisting of Commercial and Partner Management.

Michel Mariani says: «The decision was not easy for me after more than eight years at cptr. I look back with great gratitude on our time together and at the same time I am very much looking forward to the new challenge at 20 Minuten. After an extremely instructive time at cptr, the right moment has come for me to tackle something new. However, I will continue to accompany cptr until I start in August. The commercial management in Switzerland is in the best hands with Jan Bachmann. I congratulate him wholeheartedly on this well-deserved career move.»
