Graubünden-based illustrator Lorena Paterlini drew portraits based on the photographs, which are used for the three campaign subjects. The subjects focus on key aspects of the nursing profession: starting out through training, the joy of everyday working life and the possibility of a comeback to the profession.

"Working at Spitex today is modern, varied and challenging," says Melanie, a qualified nurse and vocational trainer who is one of the campaign ambassadors. "I couldn't imagine any other profession."

From mid-September, the new motifs will be displayed on posters throughout the canton of Graubünden. At the same time, the initiators are launching a broad-based social media campaign. In addition to traditional channels such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn, TikTok and Snapchat will also be actively used to target a younger audience.

The campaign kicked off yesterday with a vernissage at the Serata retirement home in Zizers. Dominique Cerveny, head of the institution, was delighted: "The campaign presents working in long-term care in a good light, which is also appreciated and supported by our residents, who were given an insight today at the launch."

With this initiative, Spitex and care homes Graubünden are underlining their long-term commitment to the sector. In addition to promoting young talent, the focus is on supporting and appreciating employees. Further information on the campaign is available at www.langzeitpflege-gr.ch.
