Looking ahead
In view of technological developments in the communications industry, KS/CS Communication Switzerland has launched a reform project for the examination regulations, which has already been officially approved by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and is currently being implemented. The aim is to ensure that the professional examination remains practical, market-oriented and future-oriented. Industry representatives will meet for an initial roundtable on June 13, 2025 to discuss the future needs and expectations of the new examination regulations. Further discussions will follow in the fall in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino in order to adequately incorporate regional perspectives.
At the same time, KS/CS is politically committed to strengthening higher vocational education and training and supports the introduction of the English-language titles "Professional Bachelor" and "Professional Master". These should clearly position PET in the tertiary education system and strengthen its national and international visibility.
KS/CS congratulates all the new communication specialists on their successful graduation and wishes them all the best for the future.
