Rivella Group once again best employer in Switzerland
On February 12, 2026, the Rivella Group was named Switzerland’s best employer in the prestigious ranking published by the Handelszeitung and the French-Swiss magazine PME—for the second time since 2021. More than 15,000 employees rated the Rothrist-based beverage manufacturer as having above-average scores in the areas of sustainability, working conditions and facilities, teamwork, and managerial behavior.

The employees were delighted when Silvan Brauen, Co-CEO, and Simone Müller-Ledermann, Head of People & Culture, announced the company's renewed top position in the established ranking at the Rivella Group's headquarters in Rothrist. For Brauen, the renewed top ranking confirms the path he has taken: "I am delighted that we are back in first place after 2021. In recent years, the company has invested heavily in its corporate culture. The award belongs to our employees. Culture is evident in everyday life: in responsibility, open feedback and uncomplicated cooperation."
From love brand to top employer brand
For Simone Müller-Ledermann, Head of People & Culture at the Rivella Group since January 2026, it is an award with great appeal: "In the past, it was primarily our Rivella brand that people knew and loved. We were hardly known as an employer. We wanted to change that. In recent years, we have systematically built up our employer brand and publicized our successes." The Head of HR is convinced that this is important, as the company will continue to rely on talent in the future.
The Rivella employees will celebrate the award together at a party at a later date.
Study with over 15,000 respondents
In their annual study, "Handelszeitung" and "PME" evaluate Swiss companies with at least 250 employees and survey over 15,000 employees. The ranking was published on February 12, 2026, and employees across Switzerland gave the Rivella Group above-average scores in the dimensions of sustainability, conditions and facilities, cooperation and supervisor behavior.
Rivella employs 260 people and generates sales of 137 million Swiss francs. Every year, almost 100 million liters of Rivella, Focuswater and Michel brand soft drinks and fruit juices leave the production facilities in Rothrist.
